Detailed information about the rules and guidelines for participating in the Massage Talent Search Vietnam 2025

I. Purpose and Meaning

  • Encourages massage practitioners, healing professionals to improve skills, thinking, and professional ethics.

  • Contributes to improving the quality of non-invasive health care services in Vietnam.

  • Connects the massage and healing community across the country.

  • Find outstanding individuals representing Vietnam to participate in international competitions.

II. Participation Requirements

  • Age

    18 years old or older by the final competition date

  • Nationality

    Vietnamese citizen or foreign nationals residing and practicing legally in Vietnam

  • Professional level

    Studying or working in the massage, spa, traditional healing, or relaxation industry.
    Students need a professional training certificate
    Workers need at least 1 year of practical experience

  • Legal status

    Not in the period of suspension of professional practice, not violating professional ethics

III. Professional Qualities

  • Respect for profession

    Polite, professional with judges, organizers, audience, and other contestants

  • Developing skills

    Courtesy, learning, and not competitive

  • Standard Spa service attitude

    Gentle, listen, empathetic

  • Teamwork & connection

    Ready to collaborate and spread healing to the community

IV. Dress Code & Professional Conduct

Uniform

Wear the correct uniform provided by BTC (or simple Spa uniform, polite if allowed)

Hair & Personal hygiene

Short hair, short nails, no sharp jewelry

Makeup

Natural – not too dark (if any)

Professional presentation

Confident – calm – correct technique – respect for the model

Personal tools to prepare

  • Essential oils
  • Sanitizing alcohol
  • Small towel
  • Support tools (if any)
V. Benefits of Contestants

VI. Competition Categories

1. Free Style

  • Showcase your talent and creativity in massage techniques
  • Time limit: 30 minutes
VII. Competition Form

🎯 Online Qualification Round – Send Video

  • Contestants send a video clip (maximum 5 minutes) performing massage techniques according to the selected category.
  • Include introduction: name, location, experience, reason for participation.
  • BTC will select the top 10 individuals/groups into the final round.
  • Qualification results announced: 04/11/2025

🎯 Final Round – Live Performance

  • Held in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi (will be announced officially).
  • Contestants perform before judges and real models in the open stage area.
  • Draw randomly for the order of the competition & the variation of the massage.
  • Have a uniform, background music prepared by BTC.
  • BTC provides bed, towel, chair, work table – contestants bring their own essential oils, small personal tools.
VIII. Scoring Criteria

Technical skills (40%)

Procedure, posture, hand strength, breath control, smoothness

Effectiveness & relaxation (20%)

Effect on the model (evaluated through expressions & survey)

Aesthetic & synchronization (15%)

Posture of the performer – hand placement – space – music

Professional conduct & communication (15%)

Greeting, ending massage, uniform, posture

Creativity & personalization (10%)

Adapt to the model's body type, personal style

X. Registration Fees

  • Online qualification: free

  • Direct qualification:

    • Working: 2.500.000 VNĐ (registration fee + uniform)

    • Student: 1.500.000 VNĐ (registration fee + uniform)

  • Certificate:

    • With certificate: get points

    • Without certificate: pay additional certificate fee in the competition
