Criteria & Standards of the Judges
I. Role of the Judges
Ensure fairness, objectivity, and professionalization in each category
Direct scoring, evaluation, comments, and recording of each contestant's results
Contribute to improving the image of massage therapy, inspiring, and establishing professional standards
Participate in training/brief before the competition to ensure synchronization and consistency in evaluation
II. Structure of the Judges
Depending on the scale, BGK can include from 5–7 members, divided into 2 groups:
3-5 people
Evaluate technical skills, procedures, posture, and effectiveness of treatment
Each person will be responsible for a group of categories or areas of contestants
1-2 people
Evaluate real-world feedback from customer perspective
Give soft points and feedback from the customer's perspective
III. Criteria for Joining the Technical Judges
At least 5 years of practical experience in the massage, spa, or healing industry
Priority for those who have been a teacher, expert trainer, or owner of a large spa
Ability to evaluate diverse styles: Swedish, Swedish, Aroma, Foot reflexology...
Has a professional certificate or qualification certificate (from a vocational school, reputable center)
Priority for those who have participated/scored in provincial, national, or international competitions
No bias, no close relationship with contestants
Credibility in the massage community and trust from colleagues
Commit to honesty, transparency, and confidentiality of scoring information
Ability to clearly evaluate, build, and inspire contestants
Friendly communication, using professional terminology, standard attitude
Participate in all meetings and training sessions before the competition
Use the correct scoring sheet, follow the time limit, and apply the unified principles of BTC
IV. Benefits for the Judges
National Judge Certificate (high professional value)

Priority for those who have taught or specialized in the subject after the competition
Categories that BGK can join
Professional Spa Owner / Vocational School
Traditional medicine or international expert
Representative of the Spa, Dưỡng sinh, Đông y Association
Representative of high-end medical device or skincare brands
Model, artist, famous person with many experience in massage
Note: BTC needs to organize a pre-event BGK meeting (offline or online) to guide scoring, handle situations, and standardize scoring criteria
Requirements for Contestants
Eligibility
18 years or older (as of the final competition date)
No discrimination
Citizen of Vietnam or foreign resident with legal practice in Vietnam
Working in the massage, spa, traditional medicine, or relaxation industry with at least 1 year of practical experience
Not in the period of suspension of practice, not violating professional ethics
Application Requirements
Registration form (according to BTC template)
Video presentation of technical skills (3-5 minutes, clear face, clear hands)
Portrait photo + professional photo (if available)
Certificate, professional qualification (if available) - not required but is an added point
Commitment to professional ethics - no copying, no cheating, accept results from BTC
Introduce yourself (name, hometown, professional experience, massage specialty, reason for participation)
Professional Conduct
Respect for the profession and the contestant and judge
Do not focus on personal goals but on the competition
Be friendly and professional
Be cooperative and contribute to the massage industry
Requirements for clothing and environment
1. Uniform
Uniform (if allowed by BTC)
2. Personal hygiene
Keep hands clean, nails short, no sharp metal objects
3. Appearance
No excessive makeup (if allowed by BTC)
4. Presentation room
Use professional techniques and equipment
5. Personal equipment
Use clean tools and equipment

Contestants can choose 1 or more of the following main categories
Massage Body, Relaxation, Aroma, Thai Dien
Massage Head, Face, Neck, Shoulder
Massage Blood, Traditional Medicine
Foot Massage, Phan Xa Hoc
Creative Massage Techniques, Personalized for Trichology
Commitment to BTC
Do not copy other contestants' work
Do not hire professional contestants
Follow the schedule and do not exceed the time limit
Do not cheat the results if you have confirmed participation
